Company Profile

Apex Electrical Contractors are highly accredited electricians in Durango and Bayfield, Colorado. The company began in April of 2004, and was started by a husband and wife team, with the help of thier business partner. Since 2004 Apex Electrical Contractors has seen some changes which have allowed them to stay focused on what is the most important; attention to detail and craftsmanship, as well as remembering the principles with which they started this business; and that is service, quality, and expert knowledge of their trade.

Licenses

Mike Crouchelli
Mike grew up in New Jersey as the son of a Union Electrician who had hopes of Mike joining the trade but it took Mike a little longer to arrive at that point. In the early 1990's Mike & his family moved to the Durango area, bought property and built a house. Having learned about being an Electrician from his Father, Mike began to learn about the building trade while building his home. Before you know it around 1996 Mike became an apprentice for a local Durango electrical contractor and has never looked back.

"With a new house and a growing family I worked hard to be the best electrician I could and in less than 7 years I learned everything I could about the trade, I obtained four different license levels and in April of 2004, I went into business for myself with my wife Simone and business partner, Andy. Since we started this business, we have never forgotten the key principals that were the most important to us and those are: service, quality and expert knowledge of what we do. The work is what we enjoy and get the most satisfaction from." -Mike Crouchelli
Andy Albosta
Andy grew up in Michigan, the son of an auto executive. Andy went to college in the Upper Peninsula for woodworking and design and worked for an electrical contractor in the Summers. Eventually, Andy began to work as an electrical apprentice full time until he moved to Durango in 2000.

Andy is uniquely qualified with his many creative talents and has an eye for design. He brings his woodworking and design background into his day to day which helps him be more detail oriented and look at things from a different perspective. Andy is joined in Durango by his wife and their two young daughters. Andy is an avid outdoorsman and loves to ski, rock climb, ice climb, bike, hike, camp etc. He is also a member of the LaPlata County Search and Rescue team and regularly gives back to the community by helping those in need.
Simone Crouchelli
Simone was born and raised in suburban Chicago, and was the youngest of four. Eventually Simone's Family wanted to move out of the city in search of a quieter home so they moved to Farmington, NM and purchased a local motel.

Simone attended college in Farmington working toward a business degree and later moved to Durango where she became a local, on-air radio personality for 15 years. She is now a critical part of the Apex family helping with anything (and everything) that needs done behind the scenes.
